Existing in Germany from 1952 to 1962, this orchestra is still remembered.
Clarinetist Jerry Mattson expresses it aptly: "I don't normally live
in the past, but I have yet to come across anyone with a comparable
experience to hark back to. Those were strange and wonderful years."

July 26, 2009:
David Furholmen (cello, '56 - '58) has a new email address, given in his biography.
Mel Ponzi reports that Lost Sheep Reginald Hache (piano) has been found by Sperie Karas (percussion,
'55 - '56). Reginald's biography gives his address and phone number.
Mel has also relayed the sad news that two other lost sheep have been found, but only via belated news of
their passing. Fred Dutton (bass, bassoon) died on October 25, 2007, according to his wife. He had
lived in Reseda, CA. And Mary Lockner reports that her husband Mickey Lockner (clarinet) passed away on
August 18, 2008.
A technical note: If the heading looks strange on any of the main pages,
try refreshing the page. The new format is not compatible with the old.
